First of all I have to apologise for not posting for a while, I have started a new job and it’s keeping me very busy!

I was enjoying my Sunday off and preparing my roast chicken for a lazy evening and pulled out my pestle and mortar. I thought I would blog about this because they are such a great tool to have in the kitchen. I use it to blend different spices or pound some garlic into some herbs and marinate my chicken. It brings the flavours together so well and its a great way to make a marinade. It also helps to release any stress with all that pounding!
