Happy New year to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break with lots of yummy food and fun with family and friends. I certainly did and now I am returning after taking a break from social media and work for a couple of weeks and it feels great.

It’s amazing to think how much we rely on our phones recently. For my line of work social media is unavoidable. However during the Christmas/New Year break I like to close down my social media apps and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I found myself not needing to continuously check my phone or scroll unnecessarily. It’s refreshing and a great way to start the new year.

How was your 2022?

But now I am back and ready to start the ball rolling again. When we welcome the new year in, it’s only natural to reflect on the year that has just passed. I hope you all look back with fond memories and feel proud of what you achieved, however big or small.

I can certainly say that 2022 was a good year for me and my family. I thoroughly enjoyed watching my daughter grow up into a sassy little boss lady who we adore. We achieved our first family holiday and generally had a great time with our friends and family.

When I think about my career, I am definitely proud of what I achieved last year and I don’t say that very often. I was lucky enough to work with some big brands, such as Domino’s, Sainsburys, Very Lazy and more. I can only hope for more this year and know that I will work hard towards it.

I love what I do but it comes with its challenges. In this fast paced world its hard to keep up sometimes. Nevertheless we keep powering through right?

I hope 2022 brought you joy in some way and if not I hope 2023 will be a better year for you. As always, I thank you for being here and for reading my blog. I truly appreciate it. I hope to bring you more delicious recipes in the new year.
