It’s National Fish and Chip Day!

The nations favourite takeaway. Is there anything better than hot fish and chips in England? Crispy batter, flaky fish and salt and vinegar chips, delicious!

As much as I like to try and make mine at home, nothing beats the local chippy. I can never recreate their fish and chips and I don’t really want to. I’d much rather hop over and wait in line and take in the lovely smell of fresh fish and chips.

Besides, eating fish and chips out of the paper is the only way right? Maybe on the beach at Brighton too 😉

The image below was taken at a local chippy in Northampton called Lighthouse and their food is absolutely delicious. They also do lots of other dishes including pies, desserts and cocktails! Go and check them out if you are in the area.
